All our shell boots have most of their functions in common - they are good in technical terrain, have a good durability, keep the water out, are easy to repair and so on.
* One thing to decide on is if you want a one-layer boot (one layer of leather in the shaft), which becomes soft and pliable at the top, or a three-layer boot that is more stable and provides support in the ankle. This is completely personal and you choose what you like or may need. One layer boots: Vandra and Forest. Three layers: Jaure, Mira, Tjakke, Professional.
* The second and most important thing to keep in mind is what last they have. Our feet are all different and therefore we have different fits on the boots. You can best find out which last fits your foot by trying a few different models and last - there is usually one last that feels more comfortable and it is the last you should choose.
